It was possible to get a close look at different locations of the forest in which the tukoni hide with the help of the virtual reality. And when you found each of them you could read a small story about each of the character - Mokh, Mandrivnyk, Druh Ptakhiv or Onakona.
I have never seen anything like this before! It is like a cartoon but you are inside of it. The characters are very interesting, unusual and kind. Moreover, it is very pleasant that they were created in Ukraine rather than brought from abroad, - says Anna, a visitor of the tukoni stand.
The virtual reality project Meet The Tukoni which was created with the support of the charitable project LuckyBooks and brought to life by New Cave Media was presented at this year’s Book Arsenal in Kyiv. Several thousands of people - including the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko together with his wife Maryna - got acquainted with them there.
When we were planning the project Meet Tukoni we wanted the life cycle of this project to be continuous. That is why after the Book Arsenal the first virtual book in Ukraine was presented in Lviv. In a couple of days, it will be shown at the Arsenal of Ideas - the festival for children and teenagers of the Art Arsenal. Afterward, it will be presented in Frankfurt and Bologna. Other festivals always reach us because they are interested in the presentation of this project, - notes Oksana Khmeliovska, the coordinator of the international festival the Book Arsenal and one of the initiators of the project Meet The Tukoni.
The objectives of the project include getting as many people as possible acquainted with the tukoni and involve admirers from others country to the tukoni tribe.
