LuckyBooks met children of orphanages and children with disabilities
LuckyBooks met with a special category of its future readers during the biggest children’s festival in Ukraine “Bukovynska Mriya” (ed., dream of Bukovyna, Ukraine’s region).
On May 31 the author of the first book that will be released within the project – Dmytro Kuzmenko visited the children's camp, which is located in the tourist complex Mygovo in Chernivtsi region. The writer is known as Kuz’ko Kuzyakin and is consedered as master of children's non-fiction. LuckyBooks’ first book will be devoted to mathematics, and therefore meeting the children was based on mathematical competitions and puzzles on intelligence.
"Quizzes are a real adventure, a competiton adrenaline, victories, defeats and so much excitement. Today there was a lot of excitement. Or to be more exact, a googol of gigabytes of excitement. A googol is known as a number with 100 zeros. That is 100 trillion times the number of atoms in the universe. Actually, you will be able to find some of such things in the next book,"- says Dmytro Kuzmenko.
The most active teenagers received a gift from the author of its popular "White a little black such a black book", and all participants got branded LuckyBooks badges.
“Bukovynska Mriya” (ed., dream of Bukovyna) is an annual charity festival for children held by charitable fund "I am future of Ukraine" for the ninth time. This year more than 800 children from orphanages and boarding schools from across the country came to Mygovo. LuckyBooks is the first fund’s publishing project supported by the IT company “Lucky Labs”.
